The work as ENLACE SOUTHERN is to engage learners via three integrated programs that work together to develop and clear pathways to achievement and success in higher education.
1. High School & Middle School Curriculum: access to information and preparation for college and careers, college campus visits, tutoring, advising, Financial Aid workshops, registration, for example. ENLACE students are engaged in research projects related to their culture, language, identities, and are provided with variety of opportunities to develop leadership and advocacy skills via public speaking, research of problems and issues in their community, Youth Participatory Action Research projects and service learning.
2. Exito! Culture Learning and Academic Achievement in a Diverse Society: the ENLACE class is offered at the college level. The class takes entering college/university students from the ENLACE high school classes and others and connects them to various college/university programs, resources, and personnel. The course assists students to develop deeper appreciations for the importance of diversity and inclusion and how these can become tools for advancing academic achievement and professional success.

Parent Involvement: Promoting student academic achievement must include promoting parent involvement, work with parents in defining their perspective and roles in relation their child's success and create partnerships to provide positive environment for parents, students, and staff, assist and foster engagement and create strong parent-school relationships
